Safe Air Machines Technology

Safe Air Machines are a high-efficiency system that rapidly cleans all the air in rooms by capturing airborne particles (including viruses, bacteria, and molds) and other airborne infectious agents and pollution. Multiple studies have generated strong evidence for indoor airborne transmission of viruses (including the SARS-CoV-2 virus that causes COVID-19) where people gather, especially in crowded settings with inadequate ventilation. While most hospitals have good clean ventilation, this is not the case in other public buildings, such as retail shops, offices, schools, restaurants, cruise ships, and public transport. Safe Air Machines solve those ventilation problems as well as other air quality problems.

High Capacity

One of Safe Air Machine’s unique features is its equipped with very powerful high capacity fans to maximize air circulation at great distances and from top to bottom continuously, thus providing superior air ventilation and filtration in public places. This prevents air stagnation as well as increases the chances of capturing airborne germs prior to the point of exposure as much as technically possible. Safe Air Machines have been tested by certified third-party laboratories that prove it can rapidly and continuously clean all the air in a large office in less than a minute (circulating all the air over 60 times an hour)! Smaller rooms can be cleaned continuously even faster, thus creating and maintaining truly safe clean air. Safe Air Machines can continuously clean all the air in an average size school classroom in less than a minute, which means the classroom air will be cleaned over 360 times every six-hour school day. There is absolutely no other product on the market that can comfortably circulate and sustain these air quality numbers.
Viruses can easily float and spread through the air on dust, fibers and other microscopic particles. The results of a study published in the New England Journal of Medicine on March 17, 2020, suggest that the novel coronavirus could remain in the air up to 3 hours post aerosolization. Safe Air Machines solve that problem by rapidly and continuously removing viruses from in the air, which significantly reduces virus transmission by air, as well as reduces the number of virus particles that fall to the ground or on surfaces, therefore reducing infectivity and reducing the need to continuously disinfect surfaces.

Certified Filtration

For ultimate air quality, Safe Air Machines are equipped with certified electrostatically charged HEPA filters that are incredibly effective at capturing airborne particles (viruses, bacteria, mold, pollution, etc.) as tiny as 0.3 microns, which fall squarely within the particle-size range that Safe Air Machine’s filters capture with extraordinary efficiency. Safe Air Machine’s filters can trap and retain up to 99% of airborne particles. It is well-known that atmospheric pollution causes serious diseases in humans and the spread of viral respiratory diseases is facilitated in polluted environments. According to the Environmental Protection Agency, Americans spend approximately 90 percent of their time indoors, on average, where the concentrations of some pollutants are often two to five times higher indoors than outdoors. More than 80% of people living in urban areas are exposed to air pollution levels that exceed WHO guideline limits. The United Nations Environmental Program predicts that the number of deaths in the world from air pollution could exceed 8 million in 2020 (compared to 3 million deaths in 2001). Safe Air Machines solve those air quality problems by removing pollution and germs from the air.
The sensor on Smart air filters tracks air filter life by detecting changes in air pressure over time, determining the filter life based on air flow and usage, not just time – allowing you to know the right time to change your air filter – not too early and not too late.

Disinfection

As an adjunct air-cleaning measure recommended by the CDC, Safe Air Machines safely use Ultraviolet Germicidal Irradiation (UVGI) that effectively kills airborne microorganisms (viruses, bacteria, mold), thereby minimizing transmission of a variety of airborne infections in occupied public spaces. CDC recommends the use of UVGI as one of the effective technologies to minimize the spread of airborne microorganisms.[1]
